Downsizer housetypes

Building upon the HAPPI design principles, DWELL researchers have been involved in the developing a series of co-designed typologies that respond to third-agers’ aspirations and represent a new approach to age-friendly general-needs housing. These drawings are accompanied by two outline specifications: one for the low rise typologies (PDF, 160KB), and a separate specification for the high-rise typologies (PDF, 95KB).

The DWELL research team commissioned housing experts at Faithful and Gould to provide supporting high level elemental cost analysis for these typologies.
